Post by Mike - N.C. Pine Tar Sluggers on Sept 30, 2012 16:40:40 GMT -8
As an end of season check, I went through the Draft Trades involving the Pine Tar Brawlers. Just before the trade deadline, the following trade was made and processed.
North Carolina Pine Tar Brawlers trade Chris Young to San Diego Sluggers for Roy Halladay.
Unfortunately I do not remember the exact details of the draft pick part of the trade. I am fairly sure Pine Tar gave up one pick for one pick. I also think Pine Tar gave up a 5th round pick. I am not sure what I am supposed to get back (in my mind it was either a 10th or a 13th).
Hopefully the Commish, San Diego, or others have a better memory or record of the transaction. Nevertheless I wanted to make sure it was not forgotten (even if Halladay wasn't enough to get me to the Championship round of the playoffs).
