Here is how the Draft Lottery entries will lay out (last years record in parentheses):
Hotlanta Hurlers (9-35) - 12 entries Milwaukee Brewers (15-29) - 11 entries Philadelphia Brawlers (15-29) - 10 entries Emerald City Gold Glovers (17-27) - 9 entries New York Marauders (19-25) - 8 entries Durham Bulls (19-25) - 7 entries Seattle Blue Waves (21-23) - 6 entries Seattle Stars (21-23) - 5 entries #Oakland Kings (34-10) - 4 entries Chicago Dragons (25-19) - 3 entries Carolina Mud Cats (31-13) - 2 entries D-Town Diamond Dusters (38-6) - 1 entry
# = Team soon to be renamed by new owner
The number of entries was determined by reverse order of standings, with the four playoff teams being listed in reverse order of finish in playoffs.
Sometime in late January/early February I will draw for the actual draft order, beginning with the first pick.
To figure out your odds of capturing the first pick, add up the total number of entries (which is 78) and divide it by your amount of entries. For example, Hotlanta has a 1 in 6.5% chance (78/12 entries).

I think thats how it would work, maybe I am wrong though (yes, yes it does happen every once in a while). If anyone knows a better formula, let's hear it. The way I put it, that would give the League Champion a 1.2% chance of getting the first pick, and the last place team a 15% chance, which sounds right....?!?

I will be doing the lottery this weekend. I actually purchased some ping pong balls on eBay for dirt cheap, because, well, I'm not sure....but I will be using those and probably a bucket or something to draw for the draft order. As soon as I figure out the order, I will post it on here and change it on CBS.
