Another question that has come up in the past. Should international and collegiate players be eligible to be drafted? If so, as minors players? Or should the drafting team be forced to burn a bench spot on them?
Part two of this question - should these players be allowed to be picked up during the season, after the draft or after they sign during the international signing period? Or should the player pool in effect be frozen on opening day, and any drafted or signed players after opening day cannot be rostered until the following season's draft?
This is more for open conversation than a poll at this point - please voice your thoughts.

i know nothing about these type players, but just because I don't we dont have to restrict someone who has inside info or a hunch. That being said it has to be a bench spot as they are not MINORS players

The problem is that these players don't all fall into one category. Because of that it's harder to implement provisions that govern accordingly.
I've seen a solution in a league I used to play in, but it requires the league to turn from a keeper league into a dynasty league. The thought being that you would conduct a draft for these players in the offseason. For example we could draft players that were drafted into MLB in 2015 at the start of this fantasy season. But due to the developmental time you give these players longer contracts. Like 4-6 years for college kids and 6-8 years for high school draftees, international players could be the same 4 year contracts as minor leaguers.
If you did this you would add roster spots in the minors designated for these players.
These players would be treated like other minor leaguers, and you could use this method to increase the minor league rosters year over year until you reached the target number.
Just a thought.

I am generally not in favor. If implemented, I would agree with Brewers that it should take a bench spot. Also leave as only in draft, not midseason.

My idea, if we'd ever implement this, would be to postpone the last two rounds of the minor league draft, and just have those rounds within a week of the MLB amateur draft. That way, people could still pick up college players that are technically no longer in college, and it could be used as a rebuilding jump start for teams doing poorly.
I'm really not in favor of it at this time, but that would be how I would approach it.

I'm not in favor of these players. If they don't have a minor tag, then I guess they should take a bench spot.
