Article 3. League Dues
A. There is a league due of $55 per season, which is due no later than Opening Day of the Major League Baseball season.
B. If a team has not paid in full by Opening Day, and has not made payment arrangements with the commissioner, their team will be locked and they will be unable to make roster moves until payment has been received.
C. If a team remains unpaid on April 30th, it will be assumed that they do not want to continue as a member of the league, and a replacement owner will be sought.
Article 21. Prize Fund
A. All entrance fees (minus $160 statistical site fee) will be put into the prize fund. The remainder shall be divided as follows:
First place....................$230.00
Second place...................$125.00
Third place.....................$90.00
Fourth place....................$65.00
Fifth place.....................$35.00
Highest Score Per Week………….$3.00
B. There will be a transaction fee assessed for claiming a player off of waivers. This fee is $0.50 per successful waiver claim. All proceeds from waiver claims will be added into the prize fund at the following percentages:
1st - 50%
2nd - 35%
3rd - 10%
4th - 5%
C. $55 will be deducted from all prize awards for the next season’s entry fee per the owner’s request. The $55 deduction for the following season is mandatory if the owner has less than 3 years of service time within the Denny's League.
Article 23. The Denny’s League Trophy
A. If agreed upon by the league, there will be a trophy of some sort that will be held by the league champion until a new champion is crowned.
